The 9-screen GSC Setia City Mall opens for business on June 21st, 2012 and is the first GSC cinema in Shah Alam and second cinema in the whole of Shah Alam (as at June 2012). In line with the Setia City Mall’s green agenda, GSC Setia City Mall has been designed to complement the mall’s green concept, with sustainability in mind.

The design of GSC Setia City Mall adopts a contemporary eco approach with the usage of wood, stone, glass and steel while the large movie graphic panels and electronic visuals sets an elegant feel for the cinema. The frontage of the cinema is a grand double height, creating the feel of spaciousness, which will transform to more intimate space as one walks towards the cinema hall entrance. There is also a “green” themed event foyer area, with an outdoor balcony for functions.
